I have many happy memories of Edith and Peter from young peoples events at Purley Chase. Edith always struck me as someone who, although, authorative, cared greatly about the children and young people in our Church. She always attended meetings of the Sunday School Union(Now NCYA) and when she could no longer attend still maintained an interest in it's work. I always enjoyed talking to her as she was always interested in you and she clearly loved her family as she always lit up when you asked her about them. I will miss both her and Peter a lot but will treasure the memories I have of them.
