To all of you who loved your Mum and grandmother so much:

I share your sense of the loss of her physical presence but rejoice in the thought of her awakening, even now, to life in the spiritual world and have it in my mind how Peter, your father and grandfather will have been there with all his typical enthusiasm and welcome, hands outstretched, full of joy at her arrival.

They were a pair and now, together again, they can push on serving the Lord’s kingdom with all the passion and firmness which characterised them both, and in that partnership, here.

I know them as two pillars of the organised New Church in Britain, as in their local Society at Seaburn Dene, and honour them both for all that they contributed, unstintingly and self-sacrificingly.

“Blessed are they who do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14

“Well done, good and faithful servants.”

The Lord’s Peace and Blessing be with you all,

Ian
